While this started out with a focus on mostly car clubs, it really can be used by all kinds of clubs including bicycle riding clubs, motorcycle clubs, bridge clubs, dominoes clubs, online gaming clubs, any time you’d like to schedule an event and alert people to that event with responses of “I’m in:” so you know when you have enough people to play or who is coming.
I had a 1991 Silver Limited Edition Mazda Miata MX-5 for 23 years. I lived in Southern California and loved that car, I mean, it was a convertible and in So Cal that meant the top was down 355 days out of the year.
I got involved in the socalm (Southern California Miata Club), with treks through Beverly Hills doing a run of the Map to the Stars with some 30 of us, or the Hangover Run on New Year’s Day when over 135 cars made a run down to Temecula through the vineyards and a 27 degree downgrade.
When I moved to Wichita, Ks in 2005, first thing I looked for was a Miata Club, there was one but was now defunct, so I started it back up, with some kind of social or fun run almost every month for 4 or 5 years. Organizing them and then getting people notified and included was a lot of work.
I’m pleased to announce I’ve created a Count Me In Miata Clubs version with a Corvette, Porsche, Mustang, Mini Coopers, and even a Tesla edition plus a Generic Cars Club app for all those not listed. Select the one to review from the Clubs menu above.
